As long standing members of the Obesity Medicine Association (formerly known as the American Society of Bariatric Physicians), we have been dedicated to helping the community lose weight through diet, exercise, correcting underlying medical conditions and the use of medications to help with hunger and behaviour modification. A healthy weight loss of 1-2 pounds a week has been shown to be the most effective. Losing weight is not easy.
